Biography:

Having moved from a career in stockbroking into teaching, Helena taught within an outstanding Business department at a local sixth form college for a number of years. Whilst there she acquired a range of experience which included developing the Business curriculum as well as undertaking a number of different pastoral roles. In her last two years she became the Curriculum Mentor and worked as an Associate Tutor for the PGCE Business Education Course at Edge Hill University. Subsequent to this, Helena became the Course Leader role for both the full time and flexible routes. In 2012, the Business Education trainees nominated Helena for the Teacher of the Year award for the Economics, Business and Enterprise Association.
