Following on from my role as a community paramedic and mentor, in 2009, I undertook a seconded position to Staffordshire University as a Paramedic Lecturer Practitioner, initially part time evolving into a full time basis that lasted for 2 years. This led to me joining Staffordshire University in 2011 as a full time paramedic lecturer with duties which involved both module and award leadership.
