Biography:

Kathleen is a Registered Nutritionist with the Association for Nutrition. In her current role as SL in Nutrition and Health at Edge Hill University, Kathleen teaches on the undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Health and is the programme leader of the MSc in Public Health Nutrition and the MSc in Applied Clinical Nutrition. Prior to commencing work in the higher education setting, Kathleen completed her PhD on B vitmain metablism at Queen's University Belfast and worked as a Higher Secientific Offier at the Food Standards Agency Scotland. Kathleen's research interests include the impact of ageing on nutrition and the role of food fortification in improving health status.
