Biography:

David joined the Department of Sport and Physical Activity in 2007 as Senior lecturer in Sport & Exercise Psychology. He is programme leader for BSc (Hons) Sport & Exercise Psychology, which is a collaborative degree provided by the Department of Sport and the Department of Psychology leading to a British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited degree. David completed his BSc (Hons) Psychology and MSc (Health Psychology) at Teesside University, before studying for a PhD in attentional aspects of motor skill acquisition and performance at the University of Hull. David is a Chartered Psychologist with the BPS, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
