Biography:

Lee joined the Department in December 2014. He is particularly interested in the investigation of organisational life from the perspectives of those working in sport, in order to develop a more nuanced appreciation of the personal and social complexities of practice and practice contexts. Dr Nelson has also helped to initiate a novel strand of academic research that seeks to better understand the pedagogical use of video-based performance analysis technologies in elite level coaching environments. The findings of this body of research have not only served to advance scholarly activity in this area, but have helped coaching practitioners and performance analysts to give greater thought towards their analysis work.
