I am a Chartered Psychologist with degrees in both Psychology and Law, a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice, and an MSc & PhD in Applied Psychology. I have consultancy and research experience in the commercial sector (having worked as a Consultant for Oracle, and Leader of Human Factors at BP Research), and academic experience as a researcher (University of Cambridge & the University of Manchester) and as a Senior Lecturer in Psychology (at Middlesex University and the University of Chester). I have also worked as an Associate Tutor for The Open University. I joined Edge Hill University in 2013. I teach across several degree programmes within Applied Health and Social Care, including Research Methods, Health Psychology and International perspectives on Health & Wellbeing. My research publications are within the field of applied health psychology.
