Biography:
After initially completing a BSc (Hons) Sports Exercise Science degree (1998-2001) Claire worked within fitness and health industry and through gaining a Sports Massage Practitioner qualification worked within a clinic and a variety of sports. After completing her MSc (Pre Reg) Physiotherapy (2005-2006), Claire worked in the NHS and gained experience as a Chartered Physiotherapist in football, rugby league and basketball. Claire took up her current role as a Senior Lecturer in Sports Therapy and teaches on the undergraduate programme. Claire is a lead internal verifier for VTCT Sports Massage qualification and continues to work clinically gaining her ACPSM bronze accreditation and most recently worked as a Physiotherapist at London 2012.
