Range of socio-cultural/football related issues (agents, occupational subcultures etc.), Migration of football playing and coaching talent, PE/School sport and inclusion, PE/School sport and holistic education, Healthy schools and children's wellbeing, The preparation and development of PE/School sport teachers, Pedagogic/teaching practice innovation and development, Elite level coaching practice (especially football), The influence of non-indigenous coaches on the occupational subculture of English professional football

B.Ed (Hons) Loughborough Colleges (PE teaching), MA University of Liverpool (Education/Citizenship), PhD Chelsea School - University of Brighton (elite soccer coaching)

Biography:

From a successful career in schools Graham joined Edge Hill in September 1997. He has taught Physical Education on post- and undergraduate programmes and is currently writing a Masters level Physical Education and School Sport degree to supplement the consistently over-subscribed PE/School Sport degree he leads. Graham also worked for over twelve years as a professional coach at Everton Football Club where his role was principally concerned with talent ID, youth coaching and player development from grass roots to professional level.
