PhD in Sport Policy at Loughborough University 2006, MA (Distinction) in European Leisure Studies at Loughborough University in conjunction with Deusto, VUB, Brussels and Tilburg Universities 1998, BA (Hons) (First Class) in Leisure Management at Thames Valley University 1996

Biography:

Neil completed his PhD at Loughborough University in 2006 and is currently a Senior Lecturer in Sport with sixteen years teaching experience and a teaching fellowship. Neil’s publications are in the area of sport policy, management and governance and include two books, peer-reviewed journal articles (including a commendation), reports to professional bodies, research reports and industry magazine articles. He is on the steering group of the Global Sport network and is a member of the Political Studies Association (PSA) and networks such as ESDN and CIMSPA. He is on the Validation panel for new degrees and an external examiner.
