Biography:

Greg joined Edge Hill University in September 2014, he has experience of working in high performance settings having worked as a Lead Sports Scientist for Stoke City FC's Academy prior to his role at Edge Hill. Greg recently completed his PhD (2017), investigating the effects of cardio-respiratory fitness on soccer performance in highly trained youth soccer players. Greg is also in the process of completing his supervised experience, aiming to become an accreditated Sports and Exercise Scientist with the British Association of Sports and Exercise Scientists (BASES). As a result, Greg has a clear commitment to research-informed practice and evidence-based teaching.
