Biography:

Gill was awarded an M.Phil [2001] and PhD in biomechanics [2011] from Liverpool John Moores University. Both these areas of work focussed on technique development (kinematics and kinetics ) in young female long jumpers latterly using Qualisys and Visual 3D for lower limb modelling. Currently Gill is working on a long jump and attentional focus project. Gill’s research interests include technique development in football, female and young performers and she also has an emerging interest in Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS), self perception and physical activity.
