Biography:
Evelyn joined the Department in September 1997 following the completion of her undergraduate degree in 1992 and her Doctoral degree in 1997 at the University of Ulster Jordanstown where she had also gained extensive teaching experience at both undergraduate and post graduate levels. She took up the role of Head of Department in the academic year 2001/2002 and has since overseen the development and introduction of the current portfolio of programmes which led to a major expansion of the department, currently the largest within the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. She also has experience of working as a Sports Psychology consultant across a range of sports and was invited to deliver workshops at Inaugural Conference for Gaelic Football at the Northern Ireland Institute for Sport.
