Jonathan joined the department in 2017 following a postdoctoral research position at Liverpool John Moores University. He completed his PhD, entitled "Fundamental Movement Skills, Physical Activity and Obesity from Early to Late Childhood" at Liverpool John Moores University within the Physical Activity Exchange research group. Jonathan's primary interests are in the development of fundamental movement skills and interventions aimed at increasing fundamental movement skill competency, especially among young children.
