Biography:

After a career as a secondary teacher, Rob Spence led Edge Hill's PGCE English programme, before being appointed Programme Leader for English Literature, and latterly Associate Head of the Department of English and History, with a brief to develop and enhance learning, teaching and the student experience. He has published widely on modern and contemporary literature, as well as on using technology in teaching. He is an Edge Hill SOLSTICE fellow.
