Collaborate is the University’s web conferencing platform, provided by Blackboard, and supported by the Learning Services, Learning Technology Development (LTD) team. It is part of the Learning Edge suite. EHU has been using Collaborate ‘Classic’ since September 2011, for classes, tutorials, support sessions and meetings. The latest release of Collaborate, ‘Ultra’, offers an enhanced environment to continue this activity, but with improved one-click entry and a streamlined, intuitive interface.
Test events with existing Collaborate leaders (~100) and external colleagues returned a range of positive comments which informed the decision to upgrade.
